Celebrating our second anniversary committed to the future
Two years ago, in a small office in Las Palmas, an idea full of ambition and a future ambition and future that soon became a mission: To create a company that would bring the knowledge and experience of research to the exciting world of business.
In the beginning, we were a small team full of passion and dedication: We knew it wasn't going to be easy, but we had a clear idea: to create something that would truly help people and the environment Artificial Intelligence & Robotics S.L was born.
From this vision FOREST, was born, a portable surveillance system capable of detecting and geolocating fires, providing real-time information to emergency teams.
The big challenge came in 2023 with the devastating fire in La Palma. The situation was critical, but we were ready. FOREST sprang into action, and the information it provided proved important to emergency teams on the island.
In those adverse times, the system showed its worth, and it was an opportunity for the world to know what we had built. Televisión Canaria showed the public how a small company was making a big difference, and for us it was a confirmation that we were going in the right direction.
Our work caught the attention of many important institutions, including the CIDE Network and the Canary Islands Institute of Technology, who recognized us as a success story in innovation. They interviewed the team, highlighting the impact we were having on the technological ecosystem of the Canary Islands. Let's remember that moment:
HereAnd if this were not enough, being selected as one of the five best startups in the Canary Islands in the Top 100 Startups by the Spanish Association of Scientific and Technological Parks (APTE)
It reminded us that the path we are following has an impact at a local level, but
also on the national business scene.
But this trip has also been a personal recognition for our founder.
At the XVI Telecommunications Night, Jaime Roberto Ticay Rivas was awarded the prize for technological innovation in forest fire detection.
A moment that meant much more than a simple award for the entire team. It was confirmation that our work, effort and dedication were making a difference.
Thus, over the course of two years, we found ourselves celebrating moments that we would never have imagined. One of the most important came when we were recognized as the thirdSpin-Off of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), a milestone that filled us with pride. This recognition, which came on May 27, 2024, celebrated our evolution as a company and also our commitment to innovation and local talent.
The ULPGChas become a fundamental pillar of our growth, providing us with the support and resources necessary to take our ideas even further.

Today, as we celebrate our second anniversary, we look back with pride and forward with enthusiasm. Artificial Intelligence & Robotic S.L is more than a company, it is the reflection of a dream that continues to grow, of a vision that continues to help transform this world into a better world for new generations.
